Gun share video for You Are What I Need, new album Hombres out today, instores underway

Known for their compelling blend of rock and a string of hits that have charted across Europe, Scottish riff merchants GUN have consistently been a force in the music industry, boasting 3 UK top 20 albums, 8 UK top 40 singles, and extensive tours, including memorable performances with The Rolling Stones.

As their widely praised new album Hombres hits stores today, GUN have shared a brand new live video, for uplifting track “You Are What I Need.”

Vocalist Dante Gizzi explains, “’You Are What I Need’ is a song about the comfort we get in those who stand by us. They’re the pillars of support, the listening ears, and the steady hands that guide us through life’s storms. Whether it’s family, friends, or mentors, their unwavering presence reminds us that we’re not alone. They offer empathy, encouragement, and sometimes tough love, showing us that strength lies in vulnerability and that together, we can weather any challenge.”

Next week’s challenge is the official album chart! Declared “some of their best songs since Gallus!” by Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris, Hombres is the first album of all new music from the group since 2017’s Favourite Pleasures, which entered the UK official album chart at #16.

Hombres is available in multiple formats as standard, deluxe, and 20-track extended editions, including fully signed, on CD, vinyl, cassette, and digitally. Order here or pick up from your favourite record shop! Bundle orders from the band’s official webstore will include a bonus Live At The Barrowlands CD while stocks last.

Don’t miss these imminent instore events! GUN fans can meet Dante & Jools from the band, get Hombres signed, and watch a special, stripped back performance.
