“I’m not sure I enjoy playing live, maybe endure’s the word. It’s very physically demanding. Maybe I’m not fit enough, I find it pretty hard. But there is something you get from it you don’t get from anything else. How many times in your daily life do you just get to let rip. There’s a certain cathartic something about it.”
This year’s Damnation Festival in Leeds featured an incredible line-up of extreme metal bands. Few though were quite as venomous as Birmingham legends Anaal Nathrakh.
